A luxury development of six two-storey Mews Houses in a private gated development. This site was acquired with planning in July 2003, taking just eight months to complete. This former stable block was refurbished with respect to its heritage whilst updating the exterior to a high quality finish.
The houses provide generous open plan living on the first floor, with bedrooms located on the ground floor.
Careful consideration was given to the retention of as much of the original structure as possible, whilst replacing damaged structure with traditional and reclaimed materials.
Throughout the project we worked closely with Islington’s conservation officer and English Heritage.
Church LLP were presented with the Lifetime Homes Award from Islington Council.
